Work Exchange positions and scholarship policy
Application Forms
Oneness Project offers three forms of fee
support for attending Wilderness Dance Camp 2008. They are: Work Exchange,
Scholarships and Tom Braveheart Fund grants.
Work Exchange: Oneness Project offers full and partial fee credits
for certain tasks to be performed at camp. Work exchange campers work as part
of the camp support staff to ensure a quality experience for all. We see the
work exchange positions requiring about a 3 hour daily commitment. For more
information on Work Exchange positions see the descriptions below. To apply for
Work Exchange, copy and fill out the Work Study Application below and send it
to the registrar or submit the online form. It must be received before June 1,
2008.
Scholarships: A limited number of scholarships are offered to
individuals based on need. To request scholarship support, submit the
application form below by email or regular mail to the registrar to be received
no later than June 1, 2008. Scholarship recipients will be informed of the
amount of scholarship support shortly after that date. NOTE: Oneness Project
will match a portion of cash
scholarship support raised by a Dance circle or other entity to support a
dancer to attend Camp. For example, if the
Braveheart Fund: Oneness Project established the Braveheart
Scholarship Fund in memory of Tom Boyington, a devoted peace dancer who
participated widely in Oneness camps and activities in the 1990’s. The Fund’s
mission is to offer grant money as heart gifts to persons with medical
disabilities, to their caregivers and to the recently bereaved to attend Dances
of Universal Peace (DUP) events. The Fund seeks to support programs fostering
opportunities for those individuals to participate in DUP events. If you or
